What interests you most about the construction industry?
I enjoy working with my hands and being able to see what I built. I enjoy taking pride in my work and not working in the same place everyday. I am always somewhere different, doing something different.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
I like that I don’t have to sit at the same desk or do the same things everyday. I enjoy moving from site to site.

What is it like working on a construction site?
The construction industry is fast-paced and everything has to be done yesterday.

What part of the Construction Skills program made the biggest impression on you?

I find myself on the job making sure I do well and finish my apprenticeship so that Construction Skills looks good. The program is a good thing for kids coming out of high school that want to go straight to work.

What advice would you give to anyone interested in Construction Skills?
It’s not an easy thing to do but if you’re willing to work it will be a good thing for your future. Don’t just do the program to do it, only do the program if you want to make something of yourself.
